Design Rules
MSIF is a semi realistic role-play site so sparkle dogs, unnatural colors/marking, and added body parts will not be excepted. So no winged dogs or cat with horns. No wolf-dogs or other half wild hybrids are excepted either. Only domesticated cats and dogs are allowed.
The only exception to this rule is by buying a character from the shop.
Wild animals bought are allowed to breed with others if it makes sense. For example a wolf can breed with a large dog and create a wolf dog. But a tiger(not that we will give out any) can not breed with a cat.
Escaped Animals Rules
The animals you role-play as will be house pets with little experience in the wild world. So it's highly unlikely your character will be a super skilled hunter or fighter in the beginning unless it makes sense for their past. Say, for example, they were forced into dog fights, were a police dog, a guard dog, or a hunting dog. Maybe they are fast from races or agile from competitions. Maybe they were a spoiled show dog or a calm house pet. Your character's past should match their personality, skills, talents, and physical fitness. Over time your character may grow into a fine hunter or fighter but chances are they aren't in the beginning.
Second generation characters will be born into the wild and therefore be stronger in their early adult years than their parents were.
Escaped animals will be best off trying to join a feral pack/clan or stay in the Junkyard. Animals with skills from a previous job or activity may try to survive are loners.
Feral Animals
These animals have long been without owners. Generations and generations have been born and strong clans and packs formed. These animals are skilled and already know how to hunt and fight.
These animals include purchased predatory animals.
Most would likely have an issue with accepting first generation escapees into their clan/pack. However, this is not always the case.
